DMA Marine was founded the 1st. November 2003.

Founder was Mr. Aage Christian Hansen.

He is educated Marine Engineer and hold a Bachelor of Commerce from Copenhagen Business School.

 

Before the foundation of DMA Marine he has held positions as:

 - Construction Engineer, J. Krüger, Waste Water Plants

 - Marine Engineer and Superintendent with Ship Owner Ove Skou

 - Managing Director of Sigma Coatings A/S, a subsidiary of TOTAL.

 

DMA Marine was founded with the object:

 - To be involved in smaller industrial innovative businesses as partner and consultant.

 - To manage industrial and maritime projects.

 

Since the foundation the company has been involved in:

 - Development of systems for renovation of ballast-and cargo tanks in ships.

 - Contracting and Management of the execution of several projects for renovation of ballast-and cargo tanks.

 - Development of a robot for cleaning of cargo tanks in tank ships.

 - Acting as consultant for ship owners.

 - Development, marketing and sales of a special filter for polishing of oil polluted water.

 - Development and testing of a biocide free anti fouling paint for ships.

 - Project management, manpower supply for installation of Diesel Power Plants.
